LUKA gets a visit from his future babysitters

Today LUKA was very excited to have a visit from Tia Jimena, Tia Mele and Tia Ceci. they have all fallen madly in love with LUKA and have offered to babysit WHENEVER we want...for free. WUUJUU

Another beautiful girl comes to visit LUKA

Today LUKA had a visit from Camila from LONDON....wow!!! Camilia is the hijita of Robin and Rosa and she came around to visit LUKA before she went back to London. LUKA was chuffed! here you can see LUKA with his new girlfriend and his abuela....and also Camila and her parents having a drink with LUKA's family.

LUKA's Mothers Birthday

Today LUKA's parents went to a posh sort of organic restaurant to have lunch with Uncle Shambles and Uncle Rugrat and Ceci and Sol...oh and also his mate William. The food is sure to give his mother gases...and hence him...so the old wifes say...although LUKA's dad knows better as the food his mother eats is completely digested and reconstructed (according to the DNA) into his milk so has nothing to do with him getting gases. LUKA's father also knows that farting is very healthy and it seems unfair that LUKA is able to do it and his father seems to get into trouble for the same thing....It is hard to understand these things as a kid!!
Anyway the big event was Vanessa's birthday and everyone sang along and she blew out the candles....later on that evening LUKA was too tired to participate in more singing in front of the NEW waterfall in the garden with his Grandparents, Tia Viviana and Tia Helena.... Vanessa also looked tired by then....

LUKA esta enamorado con Charito

Vanessa, la mama de LUKA esta 'full time' produciendo leche. LUKA esta tomando casi 5 oncas cada 2 horas en el dia y tiene casi 6kg y 60cm de largo. PUCHA!!!
Bueno, cuando Vanessa regresare a su Chamba con ANIA tiene que tener alguien en la casa para cuidar a LUKA...y en este momento Charito esta...y ella esta trabajando muy bien. Ella es una enfermera y sabe mucho de los bebes. Lo mejor es que LUKA esta feliz con ella....

LUKA's first Christmas

Sorry the fotos are a bit late coming but it has been 4-5 ounces every 2-3 hours for the past 7 weeks....not much time for Christmas fotos. Here is LUKA with his abuela in front of the Christmas tree and also sleeping with the BIG lion that his abuelos gave him for Christmas.

LUKA gets a visit from Tio Gallegon

Today LUKA had a visit from his Uncle Gallegon. He came all the way from San Francisco on Yarinacocha in Pucallpa where he has been working on a fantastic recycling project (Check out the blog http://sanfranciscosaludable.wordpress.com/). He is now going back to Swarthmore University in the USA.

A day in the life of LUKA at 6 weeks

LUKA had a big day yesterday. The pediatrician was pretty happy with him crossing the 5kg mark and the fact that he is approaching 60cm. He has been sleeping for both Australia and Peru during the day and doing his exercises before bath time.

LUKA thanks Dr Levano for pulling him out

Yesterday LUKA went with his mum and dad to visit Dr Levano and thank him very much for all his hard work on getting his mum prepared for the birth and obviously delivering him.

LUKA goes to the BIOFERIA

Today LUKA went to the bioferia in Parque reducto and although he supports GM foods the lovely people in the stalls sold his mum lots of fresh vegetables. He ran into his friends Juliet and Elliot and also made friends with Mayu from Ollantytambo. When he returned for some milk at home he was pretty tired so he nodded off for a couple of hours.

Hoy día LUKA fue con sus papás a la bioféria en parque reducto a comprar vegetales. Encontró sus amigos Elliot y Juliet y calló completamente enamorado con Mayu de Ollantaytambo. Regreso a la casa, tomó leche y calló soñando por un par de horas.
